  • Caffeine: yes (black tea)
  • Flavor: bright bergamot, soft cream, smooth finish
  • Best with: plain or as a London Fog (latte)
  • Brew: 1–2 teaspoons per 8 oz · near-boiling water · 3–5 minutes

Ingredients & allergen info
Ingredients: Black Tea, Creamy Bergamot, Blue & White Cornflowers

If you like a classic cup of Earl Grey but wish it felt just a little cozier, Earl Grey Crème de la Crème is likely where you’ll want to begin.

We started with a bright, traditional Earl Grey base—black tea with real bergamot—and softened it with a gentle vanilla cream note and blue cornflower petals. The result is a cup that still tastes like Earl Grey, just smoother and more comforting.

  • Bright citrusy bergamot on the first sip
  • Soft vanilla cream rounding out the edges
  • A smooth black-tea finish that holds up to milk

It’s an easy everyday tea if you drink it plain, and it also makes a lovely London Fog-style latte with a splash of milk and a touch of sweetness.

Best moments for this tea

Reach for Earl Grey Crème de la Crème when:

  • You want a gentle morning cup that still wakes you up.
  • Afternoon calls for “a little something” that isn’t dessert.
  • You’re in the mood for a London Fog at home—strong Earl Grey, steamed milk, and a hint of vanilla.

From the Cambria Tea Room

Before Tea Cozy was an online shop, it was the Cambria Tea Room on the Central California coast. Earl Grey Crème de la Crème grew out of that tea room—poured for guests who wanted something familiar, but softer and a bit more indulgent than a straight black tea.

We’ve kept the same balance our regulars loved: enough bergamot to taste like Earl Grey, enough creaminess to feel like a cozy treat.

Brewing suggestions

For a straightforward cup

1–2 teaspoons loose leaf per 8 oz water, just off the boil, 3–4 minutes. Drink plain or with a squeeze of lemon.

For a London Fog-style latte

Steep it strong (a heaping teaspoon per 6–8 oz water, 4–5 minutes), then top with steamed milk and a small splash of vanilla or honey.
